One Already!!!

It's so hard to believe that my baby is one. This past year has flown! It feels like it snuck up on me this time. Here's a few pics...

I did a hungry caterpillar cake.

Getting ready

He loved it!

Christmas and New Years

So this post is a little late...

(Christmas morning picture by Roger)

(Christmas morning picture by Allen)

Family hallway tradition picture.

Christmas was great. Everyone enjoyed it and was happy.

Frank's too busy to pose.

I love the look on Allen's face here. Priceless! He really likes to dress up.

He also loved the puzzle in his stocking.

And of course, legos for the Roger.

The kids were pleased and after all the presents were open, the kids played quietly until it was time to go to their cousins house. It was AWESOME!

For New Years we went to Bend and had a blast with my sister and her husband. I love going to visit family. :)

Sunset on the drive there.

The kids loved the Family Fun Center

Scenic drive. Deer!

Roger having a little down time playing with his "Simon."

Mt. Hood on the drive back.

We did get to go sledding on New Years day, but of course I forgot my camera. We had a great time over the holidays.

December Pics

This picture didn't work out for a Christmas picture, but I thought it was cute anyway.

Just a few pics from around the house.

He really is handy with power tools.

He is practicing his screwdriver skills.

Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Cheerio heaven! Can you tell he's excited?

The Boy Who Refuses His Jacket

This is my boy who refuses his jacket. I'm not sure why. It will be cold and he still does not want it. I let him not wear it thinking that someday he will learn. We have yet to reach that day. Note in this picture he is dripping. We just walked my boy who wears 2 jackets at the same time to school. Hmmm... Well, at least we had fun "Singing in the Rain."

Permissions

Ok, so just in case you were wondering why I hadn't invited you to my blog... don't worry, I didn't invite anyone.

I got some weird comments from someone I do not know with some links that I didn't like so I set everything to private. I'm not sure if I want to go that route permanently so I'm opening it up again. I'll let you know if that changes again.

Lego Engineers

My boys love legos. They can spend hours every day building and creating. The things they come up with all on their own still amaze me. Today we have a submarine and an airplane.

Thanksgiving Games

So we've been doing lots of practice with Thanksgiving games. We tossed around a bean bag and said things we were thankful for. We ate candy corn and had to say something we were thankful for. Then tonight, we were eating trail mix and had to say things we were thankful for. My oldest child turned to me and said, "Sharing." Then he handed me an M&M. Now that is something to be thankful for. Makes being a mom worth it.

What are you thankful for?

Lego Meets Machine

Roger is really into electronics lately. Combine that with his love for Legos.  Tonight Will challenged him to make a replica of a CNC mac...
